Go Green Smoothie

Fill up on your daily green-power with this fresh smoothie. It is nice to blend and go!

Makes 1 servingTime: 5 minutes

Ingredients

Dark, leafy vegetables/green (Choose any to fill 2 cups)
  • Spinach
  • Kale
  • Cucumber
  • Celery
  • Broccoli
Ripe Fruit (choose any to fill 1 cup)
  • Banana
  • Berries
  • Apple
  • Peach
  • Pear
  • Pineapple
  • Orange
To Blend (Choose any to fill 1 cup)
  • Water
  • Milk (low fat)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Marna’s handy tips

  • Add ice to make a nice “slushy” and ice cold smoothie.
  • Freeze banana slices beforehand. It will create additional creaminess.
  • You can add a few drops lemon juice (unsweetened) to give a fresher taste to it
